I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to film at electrical engineering company Enertechnos explaining their new type of electrical cable that could help us fight climate change.
I realised that what this company does is such a good news story and I was keen to tell it. Electrical cable loses so much electricity before it even reaches our front door and they've invented a cable that saves a lot of that electricity - so much less waste!

I was really pleased to have captured these microsopic images of a failed cable losing electricity - it's not every day that the client has better equipment than you!

I was also pleased with this shot of a current running though a cable inside a Farady Cage.

I was grateful to the engineers for taking time out of their day to give me access to all their equipment such as the microscope and Faraday Cage for my filming - they were all incredibly helpful and I couldn't have got the film done without them being so accommodating.

This is the CEO Dominic Quennell talking about how their invention works. One of the great things about making films is you get to learn about so many diverse subjects!
